Items improvement / inclusion topic

Hey guys, dunno if there's already a topic about this (probably yes).
Let's just brainstorm about items, which should be improved? Which should be deleted? Which should be added?
My thoughts:

Items to improve:

- Beam Sword. This one's actually works fine, the improvement I'd like to do is just graphic. I would like it to be a Wiimote, which works like a Lightsaber from Star Wars. You know what I mean? Also, make it of different colors, just because we can, right?

- Ray Gun. Also this, make it look like the actual Zapper. And CALL IT Zapper. Don't really understand why they don't.

- Super Star. I think it should be similar to the New Mario's one. Makes you all rainbowy (?) and even able to hurt enemies. Extremely rare obviously.

New items / Returning items:

- Red Shell. Really don't know why they took that off. It was annoying yes, but who cares? Was it because of the Subspace Emissary having red Koopas?

- Ultrahand. Another nice peripheral from Nintendo. I basically see this item as an easy grab for both items and characters. It has a long range, and it's really fast. Press the button and it simply reaches the nearest item/enemy. I imagine this to be incredibly funny: another player is running towards a Poké Ball, and you just ZACK steal it from him a moment before he takes it.

- Powerglove. Yep I like all these peripherals. I think of it as one of those items which "stick" on you and enhance some of your abilities. In this case, obviously the hand-based attacks. Obvious example: the Falcon Punch's power is doubled. Or even the Donkey Kong punch, ore the Ganondorf's one (if somehow manages to be in the next game too, I hope not). Probably there's a better use of it that I can't think of.

- Blue Box from Super Mario 64. This basically would work as the Cloaking Device (again, why taking it off?) but it's better looking and has more sense. Yeah I know that in the game didn't make you completely invisible, but the Cloaking Device didn't too. Maybe it could be able to make you go through platforms/obstacles which aren't suppose to be trespassable?

- Red Box. It's the last one, isn't it? Gives the ability to glide to every character, and also enhances the height of all jumps like the Bunny Hood, but it's a little more floaty.

- Rambi. Appears in his iconic box, whoever breaks it jumps on the mighty Rhino and run across the stage. The control is similar to the Wario Bike, kinda hard, but the result is one of the most powerful attack in the game (like the Hammers). Could work as a final smash too, maybe.

- POW Block. Everybody knows what happens with this one, right? I think it should be kinda fast so it's not very easy to avoid (a lot of characters can stay in the air for a long time).

- Baby Blue Fat Bubble Yoshi. This dude:

Explanation needed? It would be just fun to trap opponents in bubbles and then smack them out with a big smash, no?

- Bombchu. You put it down and it goes really fast in the direction you face. Explosion similar to the Bo-Bomb.

- Energy Tank from Metroid. Another 100% recovery item just like in Flash 2, for variety's sake.

- Cucco. This would be fun if it worked exactly like in Flash 2:

That's it for now, I think it's enough to start a nice discussion. Any ideas from you?

Copy and paste this to one of those threads. I really like the rambi idea. Just wonder if they would be willing to use content from a game made by RARE. Musta been hard enough for them to include Diddy Kong and his awesome DK64 skills.

I think Rambi and the 1-Up mushroom would better stay in the story mode only.
You know, besides the game value, items have even a history mention value. But you can't have too many of them, unless you divide at least some of them among stages items and story mode items.
I think the SM would be improved by having exclusive items.
