It suddenly occurred to me...

...that America got treated by Nintendo for once.

I didn't even think about it before and I tried searching for a thread about this but couldn't find one. Does anybody think it's kinda weird that the U.S. got a demo for Brawl and no other country got one? Not even Japan? Or did Japan even get one? As far as I know, the only demo was played at the E for All. To me, the fact that Japan didn't even get to play a demo seems kinda blasphemous but at the same time, I'm grateful. Lol, and to think that the origional Smash Bros. wasn't even supposed to be released here.

Anyways, discuss. How come the U.S. got one and not other countries? (or did other countries get demos too and I just don't know about it?)

Maybe I'm wrong, but I'm almost certain that there was a playable demo of Brawl at the Nintendo Conference
Fall 2007 that was held in Japan a couple weeks before E 4 All

Americans in general are more aggressively competitive in general, seems like a perfect group to test a fighting game...

Also I think since we were also the only country to recieve a release date that resulted in the delay, it may have been merely an attempt by NOA to soften the blows...
