My Marth dominates on the usual three-platfromed stages. However, is it usual for a Marth to dominate on Mute City?

I guess, since it's a lot easier to ledgeguard people.
Marth's sword takes up like half of the primary platform.. Also your opponent can't grab the edge. Good for Marth.

you shouldn't dominate that stage against floaties with good recoveries..ie peach and jiggs...others it should be easy since they can't recover easily..overall though that stage hurts marth's recovery a lot

There's no advantage, no disadvantage (save a few cases...)
I personally hate the stage BECAUSE there are no ledges and Marth has a great edge game.
