Since I cannot post the link just go to youtube and search "New Tech or Lylat Cruise Glitch? (Super Smash Brothers for Wii-U)" It should be the first video.

A friend and I were messing around and stumbled across this tech/glitch? It looks like Ike spot dodges or shields to cancel the smash, but you can also see he falls a bit so maybe that's what is actually canceling the smash attack.

We aren't sure if it is Ike/Lylat Cruise exclusive since we weren't able to recreate it elsewhere or with anyone else.

We both had Gamecube controllers and recreated it a couple times only using the control stick, b, x/y, l/r.

Lylat Cruise has a weird thing going on where certain attacks that physically move the character around can put them in an airborne state depending on how the stage is tilted at the time. It's easiest to do with Bowser: While on the edge, face the middle of the stage and use his first jab while his side of the stage is tilting up. I believe the effect only happens at the ledges or where the stage forms an angle at the engines.

@Amazing Ampharos knows more, I think.

Stage tilt interrupts moves.
See and that's what I thought but there was an entire game where we just did forward smash and it never got interrupted. Only when we put in other commands would it get interrupted.
