Is there LOCAL Team Battle Online?

Meaning that if my roommate is in the same room as me and we want to go 2 on 2 with another team online, is that possible? We've been wanting to do this forever. I know it can be done in Strikers, so it would be odd if it couldn't happen in Brawl. I would be severely disappointed if Sakurai left this out. Anybody with knowledge of technical terminolgoy thrown around in reference to the Wifi in the game so far know if this has been implied or stated outright in one form another?

Yes, it has been shown in a Japanese commercial of two people playing another two online.

Although there is no OFFICIAL confirmation on the Dojo. After all the commercial could just be staged, although its highly doubtful that they would lie like that.

but is it confirmed that one team is sitting in the same room playing online? Becaue it could be team battle, but they pair you with a random online opponent. That seems ridiculous, but I've dreaded that they would cop out and do it that way.

Yes, by that commercial and confirmed by a Nintendo Rep at WHobby08. Then again, a nintendo rep at WHobby08 said the release date is the 24th....
