is pit good for both FFA and 1on1

hey as you can tell im new here i just wondering is pit good for both 1on1 and FFA because im in a tournament on saturday in the uk brawl doesn't come out till friday. I really want to win because top prize is a samsung hd tv and im planning on using pit. However he needs to be good at both FFA and 1on1. What do you think. Btw the only characters available are the ones that don't need to be unlocked.

In a FFA arrow camp like hades. If it requires kills steal em with arrows.

In a 1 on1 he's amazing against newbs as well. Arrow spam should kill if everyone is inexperienced. Just know that once the game is out for a while the spam will not work well.
