won't tell you that...
Okay, for several months, my friend has told me, and I (almost) quote:

Y'know, Falco is really cheap in melee. He has a combo called "Falco Sky Pillar Combo", and it can get people up to 999%. You do it by doing *he says a bunch of random buttons*

he is referring to Shine (jump out of the shine--cuts lag), double jump, dair, fast fall, L cancel, shine--rinse and repeat.

It is not an infinite. If someone has bad DI, it will seem unstopable..

Yes. Firstly, "pillaring" refers to Falco's shield pressure technique in which you SHFFL d-airs>shine repeatedly, making it really hard for his opponent to shield-grab. What he may have been referring to is simply a down-air>shine combo. If this is the case, you must be able to predict where your opponent will DI in order to keep the combo going. Unless the opponent is a vegetable he will eventually escape, so there's no way the combo will rack up that much damage.

EDIT: Me14k beat me to it :(

Miss you Ryan
lol, it is a solid combo but nothing will get you to 999%. Even if you could spike out of the shine faster than the game allows you to, unless you could tech perfectly at 999% your character would still slide against the surface because there is way too much momentum to be canceled out. It's like when jigglypuff breaks her shield in the bottom portion of Hyrule Temple and sticks to the ceiling.

Well, I know if you push c-stick to either the left or right... that may SEEM like your opponent has 999%

I bet we could get superdoodleman to make a perfect control where that happens :chuckle:
Nice. I'd like to see that. Go to some place where there's a ceiling right above some ground so multi-shines would work and still not send them too far out. Or put damage ratio on 0.5 and falco's handicap on 1 and keep multi-shining.
