Is Meta Knight cheap?

Please don't flame/hate me for asking but do any of you guys think he's cheap? He's my secondary and I'm curious.

I honestly don't feel that he is. By now everybody should know what to do against his moves. If he is cheap, please explain to me.

You ask this question in the Meta Knight section? All you'll get is bias. No characters are 'cheap', MK just has overwhelming advantages.

Well, if I asked elsewhere they would say yes. I'm sorry, I just wanted legitimate reasons to explain what you said. Everytime I go to an offline tourny, everyone just bashes me for using him and use the usual " f'in cheapest character/broken,etc" comment. I just needed something to counter their argument. I won't make another thread like this.

Yes. He is made of comboes and his attacks have no lag. He has one of the best, if not the best, recoveries in the game, can WoP better than a Melee Jigglypuff, and is the God of Gimp. What more could you want?

You really shouldn't be asking the question at all. Like Affinity said, it's a scrub word. If you think a character is cheap, that's only a better reason to use him. Give yourself the immidiate advantage.

Don't counter their argument, when you go home with the 1st place prize money, that'll be your counter. Someone report before this gets even more posts.

Sigh, if i must be honest, MK is the closest you'll ever get to being cheap (replace that word with "overpowered" or "Broken") but that don't mean that he's not beatable. Sure it is very difficult for some chars to overcome him (Ex; Captain Falcon) along with the NO BAD MATCHUPS part... but still, he isnt invincible.
Many have studied on how to beat him with their chars, many ppl are used to the matchup since MK is common, but that does not mean that MK is not overpowered.
And don't get me started with the MK Planking, which should be banned.

Snake, Falco, and probably DK are the closest counters to MK that you are gonna get.
