Is it worth it (Xbox 360)?

So I have lots of games and systems (2 NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube, Xbox, Wii) and I was wondering if it is worth it to get a 360. I am debating about it because I am looking into playing more multiplayer games, meaning more competitive, and I know Halo 3 is a great game for that. I have a Wii and I know that there is a high chance of online play, but the only game that is coming out that looks competetive and I can put a lot of time in to perfect is Brawl. What's stopping me from buying a 360 is the fact that it costs so much, and than I will have to pay additional for enabling it to have a wireless internet connection, and then the games. I do not have an endless supply of money, so I was wondering what any of you guys think. I thank in advance any comments and suggestions.

I say it's worth it because there's a lot of great games out for it and a lot more coming soon.

If you do get one buy Gears of War, Crackdown, Ghost Recon 2 Advanced Warfighter or Guitar Hero 2.

A lot of really good games for the 360 kick butt. Deadrising is so fun to kill zombies lol XD

Are there any games you'd want to play? If yes, then buy it, if not then don't. Your opinions aren't the same as ours. So for some people, sure it will be easily validated, others, it won't.

I only bought XBOX 360 because it will have alot of games I really want: Splinter Cell: Conviction, Resident Evil 5, Gears Of War, Halo 3, Halo Wars and lots of other good games like GTA and Final Fantasy.

But I do want a Wii for Brawl, through...

Thanks you guys. From very little that i got out of it, you people think it is a good "investment" because it has the best shootem ups (Halo 3 and Gears of War). I usually get into games and stick with them for a long while, and the top will be Brawl and halo 3. I would love for my main kick *** games be Brawl and Halo 3.
