Is it possible to play Melee Online?

I've heard it is "somehow" possible to play Melee online.

Is this true? and if so, how do you set it up?

well people with emulators and good internet/computer could run ssbm in 40-50 fps so almost as much as game cube.

my computer can run it but still need to by the gamecube slot to usb converter.

It is possible, but something terrible has happened to everyone who has tried it. I don't buy any superstitious stuff, but it has already happened to 13 people, and 13 is an unlucky number. I would stay away.

i wouldn't mind

its just i don't wanna buy a converter (even though i already have a PSX/2 and N64 and a SNES controller converter)

and my computer probably wouldn't be able to run it

Ty Desh, your right it does need to be run at 60fps... It just wouldn't be even close to how it is now in tourneys.

Yes, there is.

Gamecube Online Adapter that you buy to play Phantasy Star Online for GCN made it possible.

Packets for online made it very unplayable. Characters would zing back and forth like crazy birds.
