Kirby and Pikachu in SSB64 = the best
Kirby and Pikachu in Melee = Not so great. (They were nerfed hardcore in melee)

This apparently changes in brawl, theyre more like theyre 64 selves again.

This is a topic for discussion about Kirby being so much better in SSB64, not a topic for discussion of that picture.

However, that picture is currently my desktop background, and the caption is "I don't know what you're talking about, so here's a bunny with a pancake on it's head".

Yes, Kirby is much better in this game, for many reasons. His Dair functions much better as a spike, and his other aerials are much better as well. Due to the lack of DI in 64, he can also chain Utilts a lot easier.

All about air moves. As long as i can keep my Kirby in the air, I can do well. Both Pika and Kirby lost all of their uber air attacks in melee, and that was the problem. Brawl is supposed to be focused more on aerial moves, so we will see.

Kirby can also be used greatly in team games with team damage on, because of his sucking ability.(Recovering and attacking too) Pair two kirbys together with the suck/shoot ability and some fair/dair and you have a good advantage.

The only thing kirby got in melee that is better than 64 is his uair.

Kirby was my main in smash 64. His fair and dashing A attack along with his normal smash attacks & his floating abilitiy made him one of the best characters in the game.

Well Kirby just has great aerials, and great recovery, and abus-able smash attacks. Hes got it all in 64

i prefer the one with the surveilance (i cant spell) camera behind the monitor. THAT made me laugh. but i think it was around before you came.

anyways. i think melee physics made sheik and fox and stuff better, instead of making kirby and pika worse. but i dont know. i dont melee often. and i suck at it, yes more than i suck at 64

Fox (according to tier) is better in melee...but personaly i think theres a few chars better then Fox in melee but my melee game sucks so =.=

i think tiers do exist you just dont need to read them as "this char is better then this one" btu as "this char has X good quities"

This is true. This basically means "No ****ing way is a bottom tier going to beat a top player using his top tier main".

This is talking about Melee of course. Link and Luigi can definitively still play very **** good at high levels in ssb64 and even samus (who I think is the worst) can still do very good with mindgames.

Kirby can be a nice char,but if u know how to keep ur distance u'll be able to reduce it.
Anyway I don't think Samus is the worst char. I enjoy playing with her.

its not really about Samus being the "worst" char its mroe about her lack of high end quilites as compared to others...but remember tiers dont add in situational usage or

I honestly pray that this statement turns out to be a true one. There's no absolute way to tell until the masses get ahold of the game... a small group of people that get to play the demo don't have enough evidence to compare yet.
