Any age is fine for competitive smash i was 7 and called myself a competitive smash player...i liked competiton lmao im 15 now and way better then i was and i say the younger the longer! Is 13 to young for competitive and also if you have Megaman tech or c.falcon tech pls tell
Yeah this guy right here LOL XDYou're never too young if you play well.
Maybe not, but I think this boy at 0:25 is the one who @ CyberHyperPhoenix about. He is playing Falcon.
AgreedThirteen years of age is definitely younger than average, though I don't think I would say it's too young. With that said, at the age of 13 you are still a dependent, meaning you probably aren't able to travel around on your own just yet. Don't expect to go out of state for tournaments for a while.
I wish I could've started that soon but I realized competitive gaming at 14 lolNope, I went competitive when I was 10.
TrueIt doesn't really matter what age you are in when playing Smash it just matters that you are able to learn and adapt a good example would be Wizzrobe he started joining tournaments when he was 2 years old and is still keeping at it today at age 16. So in conclusion there really is no defined age to start smash (Nor there should be) and it is completely fine to start playing smash competitively.
I went competitive at 10, but I started entering tournaments at 15.I wish I could've started that soon but I realized competitive gaming at 14 lol
To be honest I felt like I was hungrier when I was younger. I felt hot blooded. I would always got frustrated if I had a tough challenge or lost and that fueled me to become better. I definitely lost some of that as I matured. I still get better of course but my drive definitely has become weaker with age.I don't believe there really is any age that is too young as long as you are willing to learn. I started playing Smash when I was 9 and playing competitively around 13. I'm 16 now and I still love playing and improving.
