International players coming to usa... Any tournament in new york?

Hello to the american smash scene in first place, well my friend and I will be coming to New York, we are from dominican republic and we would like to go any event nearby...

Im going around ending of july, maybe around july 20 and will for 2 weeks, and my other friend will come in august 14.


Well some people told to contact DJ Nintendo, that he would provide tournament information and that... But i have no idea how to...

Any Help is useful... We would to try out the american smash scene

if you are going to be around that timeframe you might as well go to apex its the biggest tournament around.
