infinite upwards momentum! help me!

considering maining diddy(i have no clue who to main)

so i fired up a match vs a lvl 7 luigi on pirate ship, however, when i am charging the up b, he somehow hits me and i start slowly and steadily moving upwards, like gravity reversed, until i let go of b.

do you guys know of this?

sadly, for certain reasons i could not save the replay, but i wish i could have.

It's just the same thing as lucas's zap jump, you must up b right as you jump. Just search around for it.

Sometimes i do up b out of shield to charge my rocket barrels if someone has a banana and will throw it at me, and occasionally it hits my shield too early and my barrels rise like hell. This happens because I have jump tap off and have to press jump before initiating up b.
