Inafune wants Yaiba to be in Smash..

Destructoid asked Inafune how he felt about Mega Man being in Smash Bros. He gave them this response.

"I'm really happy for that! It's great! And hopefully they'll put Yaiba in it in the future!"

When asked about Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z coming to Wii U, here's his answer.

"Yeah, no, not right now."

You know what I'm pretty sure about? I'm pretty sure Nintendo would never include a character in Smash Bros. that has never had any representation on any Nintendo platform.

Not too sure if it's worth the thread to discuss though..

I don't think Inafune was saying "they should put this brand new character in the game right now". I think what he was saying is "I hope Yaiba is as successful as Mega Man, and in the future, he'll be a successful enough character to be in Smash."

If he really wants him in a Smash Bros, then how about you get your damn game on the platform. You're bringing that game to even Android devices, so "power" isn't an issue as to why the game isn't heading to Wii U. Guess it's dem sales. But really, why do these people want their properties in Smash Bros. when they haven't met the proper requirements? And I doubt Sakurai would bother bringing someone like Yaiba to Smash Bros. over other popular 3rd party characters.
