In your opinion, is the Absolutely Safe Capsule Porky?

Porky is the only character in the game that is indirectly "represented." So I just wanted to see what the Smash Speculation scene thinks.

Honestly yeah I think its an eleaborate joke for fans of the series, saying that even galeems blast won't free him from it alongside it being a spirit that is entirely defense and not much else. It's also used for an online profile pic which makes me think they see it as Porky rather than just an empty ball, I know that it doesn't use the EXACT sprite it uses when hes inside it, but thats a slight change (doesn't even visibly show him inside it) and this is from the same sprites that had a fanmade Masked Man and Ness' dad had left over green pixels on it so I don't think theres exactly deep thought in regards to the sprite used.

It's a fun joke. It's meant to be him, but it's obviously not meant to be the same as regular character spirits. A problem with some Spirits is they can be hard to get jokes, this included.

It'd help if the empty and full capsule actually had more than a tiny difference. I can't blame anyone for making that mistake, not even the developers.

Not really. There's a Metal Gear spirit that represents a bomb, because that's in her body. That's the joke of it.

That's the same kind of joke here. Where they're fairly difficult to get the point behind it due to being an obscure joke and aren't really the "funny" kind of joke for people. Just a facepalm-worthy one.

...Which describes Porky's situation well. He really should've just been a regular spirit, not being used for one of the few obscure jokes.

Yes, he is inside. but I dont think that means anything. We have lots of Mario spirits and he is also playable in the game. It doesnt mean that there lots of Marios running around.

I think him being inside is what they were implying, yeah.
I think they were trying to be kind of funny but it ended up coming across as just weird.
