EDIT:
I'd like to thank those that have responded for using spoiler tags and not ruining anything for anyone. <3
/end edit

It seems in most any anime that I decide to get really involved in and fall in love with (metaphorically speaking) something tragic happens that just makes me want to kill the writers of said anime.

Always. It's starting to get rather depressing.

I'm sick of crying over my anime **** it.

Now the rest of this blog will be written using spoilers with the title of the anime being the first line (and not in spoilers) as to not spoil anything for you. If you haven't seen the entire anime, don't read what's in the spoilers.

Let's start with the more recent things:

Code Geass
I just got finished watching the entire 2nd season this morning. I pulled an all nighter and didn't get any sleep. It was great to finally finish the anime. But you know... I was getting pretty fond of Shirley there for a bit... then Rolo has to be a little ***** who flips out and shoots her.

I mean come on Rolo, did you really have to kill her?
I didn't have any problems with you until you did.

Poor Lelouch... sitting there trying to command her to live.

Then, although someone spoiled it for me ages ago, Lelouch has Suzaku kill him. I mean, I sort of expected this whole "get the world to hate ____ then get rid of _____" unity plan, but I hated to see it happen. Lelouch was a cool guy and doesn't afraid of anything.

Also who else felt him and his brother had the same idea? His brother was going to launch those nukes off, get everyone in the world to hate him, and blah blah blah. At least... that's what I think.

Elfen Lied:
Nearly every episode of the anime made me cry.
I mean... seriously...
this was one depressing anime.

Outlaw Star
Ok, so I can't even remember all the episodes but I will always remember a special 2 episodes to me. (or was it 3?)

First episode:
The 2 main characters (guy+his copilot) end up stopping somewhere (don't remember all the details) for a restock, after just fighting some enemy. The copilot is in a park (IIRC) and meets this girl. Said girl is really cute, and they have a great time. She has 2 cats which just made her more epic to me.

Second episode:
The copilot gives the girl these flowers before he has to go. Him and his boss or whatever go and end up fighting again with that same enemy. This made me really, really sad when said enemy died.

Flowers floating in space.
That made me crey.

This is all I can remember of this, I am sure there was more.... but I still cry thinking back to this.

There's more but I really can't even think of anything... 10am and haven't sleep in 2 days johns.

EDIT:
7 :( faces used

The only time I had any kind of compassionate connection was the interactions between Mariko and her father. Apart from that, I found it all to be somewhat thrilling and amusing.
Elfen Lied was a great anime, but yeah like I said, Mariko was the only one that made me feel any sort of emotion.

Summarize the plot of both of those animes.

@Teran
But...but...but...

Elfen Lied:
WHAT ABOUT LUCY? D= YOU HEARTLESS *******

Just remembered another:

Grave of the Fireflies:
If you don't cry during this movie, your a heartless *******. My teacher played this in our history class. Need it be said I was probably one of 8-9 guys crying in the class. **** was emotional.

No not really. She's was overly bitter and vengeful and deserved every last bit of bad fortune she got.

It's an off and on thing for Lucy. One moment I'm sad for her the next I get pissed off. She has a reason to do it. But at times she just seems to be doing it for fun. I hated what she did to Nana... MY POOR NANA!! T^T

I didn't really feel all that attatched to Nana. :/ I mean... I don't think she deserved to be ripped into 5 pieces... but I didn't really feel bad for her for some reason. I just don't think I attached to her character.

However I felt bad for Lucy no matter what. D=

Ok, so you hate Lucy... what about Nyuu?
Seeing Lucy get shot in the head was pro. Also, Nyuu was annoying.
I wanted Mariko to tear Lucy into 50 ribbons.

I'm starting to hate anime because a majority of them have overly predictable plots, cardboard-cutout characters and yet still sell extremely well. Honstely, for every series as good as this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RGVyohgUS2s

We get ten crappy animes like this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tVzrWXh-dYk

Or this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4IcYnLcWYYo

(WHY THE HELL DOES THIS SONG SOUND LIKE JAPANESE DRAGONFORCE?)

Seriously, it takes no effort to make a bland and predicable plot with cardboard cut-out characters. The thing that bugs me the most? This crap actually sells.

Tsubasa isn't that bad, and I personally wasn't a big fan of Case Closed. :/

That third one was just fail though....

Watch Zeta Gundam or War in the Pocket if you really wanna cry. Death in Wing means nothing compared to those two.
HIGH FIVE!
War in the Pocket
BERNIE!! WHY COULDN'T YOU PULL OFF A SOLID SNAKE! WHY!?

Zeta Gundam
Its a cluster**** of death. Some of your favorite characters die in the most unexpected ways...like Emma. I mean if you don't want to get depressed or any thing, watch the movies, but the high animation quality death remakes are wow. Endings makes you happy for the life you have.

Gundam
Yea first of the Real Robot Genre. Tons of death here as well. If you thought the anime was bad, the original premise was pretty depressing
Think Fire emblem 4 with giant robots.

But in the end, the novel was depressing its self. Like seriously.

Plus Gundam has one of the most upbeat Emo songs ever.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vzETpugsaYI&fmt=18

ZZ Gundam
Its a show which takes place after one of the most death filled anime's out there. And its a complete polar opposite. If your looking for death, you'll only find laughter...or in some people rage.

Macross
ROY FOCKER WHY DID YOU HAVE TO DIE!

Macross 7
Epic music.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VsU78txmVXs

Macross Fronteir
Cluster mash of Music, space battles, one on one Transforming dogfights and a love triangle to boot.

I don't like the anime considered main stream by the US/Canada.

Gundam is serious business.

SPOILER ALERT:

If you actually plan to watch Outlaw Star, do not play this video.

This video will spoil episode 20 for you... well.. the last 4-5 minutes.

I have this video to start starting from where I started to cry to the end of the episode.

If interested, watch it all:

Blonde kid is the one who just cheered about killing his date. :'(

You cry quite easily lol.
No animated feature or film has ever made me shed a tear apart from one.

Teran points to the one that guesses it.

Thank you. Real Robot Anime FTW.

Let's not get started on Victory Gundam. I'm in the Mid- teens and people are dropping like flies. And in Gundam, you usually don't get stupid stock characters that die meaningless deaths. You get 3D characters that make you feel for them. They don't call the Grandaddy of Real Robot Anime "Kill 'Em All Tomino" for nothing.

I'm really only talking about U.C. Gundam, though....

Tsubasa was pretty bad, if you're like me and you actually demand quality from what you watch. Not to mention that any anime that crams every last anime cliche into it is pretty uncreative and bad. Although the whole "kingdom hearts character and world" like thing was pretty cool, I must admit.

Case Closed is a hit and miss series, I can see several reasons why it would miss. Things like,

1: It's pretty different from most anime.

2: It resembles American TV over Japanese TV

3: The episodic nature of the series makes it a pain to marathon, and from what I know, most anime fans love to marathon things.

4: Zero rewatch value.

And Buso Renkin was bad, really bad.

3 and 4 hit the hammer on the head.

I like to watch entire seasons in one sitting, sometimes twice.

Pretty much whats happening in the Summer and Fall for anime.

I for one cannot wait for Winter to come, because Gundam UNICORN is coming :mad::mad::mad:
Why is it that a majority of the girls in those pics look like the exact same character only with different hair and clothes? Seriously, anime writers, I'm sick of the whole "kind, nice girl who can do no wrong." Seriously, go out, make some lady friends and see how girls really act in real life. Please and thank you.

Also, Gundam 00 = win.

They made an anime out of Lilo and Stitch?
Not just that, it's probably better than the original because it's Japanese! =^__^=

I've never gotten the appeal of anime. I have seen a few, and I've gotten bored through most of them.

omg so gonna watch.

I want to seriously punch that person in the face (who made it). The design of Lilo is just an insult to the regular. (I actually sort of liked the show, it just got.. too weird.)

THe appeal to anime for me is cuteness. Also alot of the stories i seem tow atch have a pretty deep story line.

Clannad, Kanon, Kime ga Nozumo Gien. All really good.
