Maybe the reason why it's all being kept under wraps is because Sheik is being replaced by her new alter ego Tetra from "Wind Waker". I'm just making assumptions so don't get mad at me for posting this but since everything is being revamped to new Nintendo stuff maybe Tetra is the way Nintendo wants to go.

I agree. If people keep yelling about Shiek in TP style than I see no reason why Tetra couldn't be in said style. Really, either way TP Zelda would be transforming into a character she never was and is from a completely different time line of the series.

No, it was a physical transformation. She had dark skin as Tetra, and were very pale as Zelda. Their haircolors don't match either.

It would make sense to have a WW Zelda transform into Tetra, they're part of the same story. But TP Zelda to Tetra makes as much sense as WW Young Link to TP Adult Link.

I would'nt dought shiek will begone..By the way they're using Twilight Princess Zelda not ocarina of time...And shiek wasn't even an unlockable character she was just a character within Zelda.So yea really good chances shiek is out for good...Never know...Hope Midna is in Brawl...

There's still an OoT Medley though, and Link's still using Down Thrust and Up thrust from Zelda II... and Zelda's still using moves from Melee named after moves from OoT..

I really think that SHiek staying is still plausible.

Just going to compare Tetra and Sheik.

Similarities:

-Both are technically Zelda.
-Both are from the adult timeline.
-Both has shown the will to fight as they were(not as Zelda), but both failed hardcore.
-Both are tomboys etc.

Differences:

-Sheik has been in only one Zelda game, where she/he/it/potatoe played second fiddle to the Zelda role,
While Tetra has been the dominating role in the two Zelda games she has starred in, +she had a minigame mode in the Japanese FSA named Tetra's Trackers. (intro: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K5AFDanVRqU)

-Sheik was in melee, Tetra wasn't. (duh!)

-Sheik was in OoT, which is seen as a pinnacle of the Zelda series...

On the whole, both ideas are equally good (or equally ********).

Tetra has greater game relevance and more appearances on her side, but Sheik has a larger fanbase(accquired from Smash), I think.

Just some food for thought. The symbol shows that Zelda is still connected to the Sheikahs somehow, though not directly through TP.

Very cool though, check the scene out sometime, it's very visibly engraved on the cloak

The "Sheikah" have been protecting the Zelda fam sense who knows when. Sheikah elements in tp=/=Zelda becoming Sheik. . . ya know, just saying.

And heres some more food for thought. . . Midna has the "Sheikah" eye on the back of her helm.

PS. I agree with the statement that Zelda transforming into TP looking Sheik makes as much sense as her transforming into TP looking Tet.

The short answer would be Anti-Sheik. But I'm not totally against her inclusion in the game. I just very, very, very, VERY much want her to be separated from Zelda this time around. It wouldn't bother me if she were demoted to an AT either.

And for the record, yes, I'd prefer to see someone like Midna in Brawl before Sheik.
