Pretty much nothing there is true, I think your opponent was just panicking/inexperienced.

Down throw-> cross slash shouldn't work since the opponent has time to shield once they land, though it can be a good mixup at times.

The nair after is only good to read a jump.

The back throw only worked since Ike's fair didn't come out fast enough.

Again, the nair read the jump.

The limit CS read the side-B

I must admit though, the wall jump dair was pretty stylish.

Thanks for the feedback. I will remember that down throw into CS isn't true if the opponent shields. (also I used the word 'string' as I too knew it wasn't a true combo)
