I'm looking for some characters.

I don't want ones that replace existing ones.

I'd like ones that add on, like Mewtwo and Roy.

The ones I seek are Pichu, Plusle and Minun, Toon Zelda, Tetra, Dixie Kong, and Young Link.

Scouring the Brawl Vault didn't help me much, sadly.

Anyone know where to get ones that are Clone Engine-style, rather than oneslot?

Ok, Here's what I've found:

Pichu: This is the latest Pichu PSA, but the Side-B is really broken and cheap, and has to be fixed. Can replace Pikachu or be added using BrawlEX

Plusle And Minun: The closest I could find was the Pichu Bros. PSA, since only vertex edits exist. This moveset is not configured for BrawlEX, so you'd have to do that yourself. I don't know how good the moveset is, and it's designed for vanilla Brawl.

Toon Zelda, Tetra, and Dixie Kong only exist as Vertex edits and Imports, and have no true moveset.

Young Link: This is the only completely configured PSA that doesn't have any bugs, but unfortunately isn't designed for Project M. It'll still work though.

Also, you'll have to use Project M 3.0 if you want to use BrawlEX. BrawlEX for PM 3.5 Semi-works, but crashes a lot... It hasn't been worked on for a while as far as I know...

Yes, adding characters in Brawl is annoying. Project M is even more annoying to add characters to. Use this as a base, if you want. It has Pichu and Young Link added in, and can support more clones.

All Five of the Melee vets that got cut? And Dr. Mario as his own character instead of an alt? COUNT ME IN!
How did I not find this before? Forget Toon Zelda, Tetra, Plusle and Minun, and Dixie Kong for now, I'm happy with just this mod! I can worry about those four later!

I have a problem, though.
I've installed everything I need to the SD card.

The only problem...
When I boot up Project M, it just loads Vanilla Brawl, and a glitched one at that.
What should be the configuration and location of all the files?

That's a problem with the SD card. For some reason, the File Patch Code doesn't load properly on some SD cards, even if they're 2GB. I happen to have two dysfunctional SD cards, one of them I bought for purpose of modding in the first place... -_-
My suggestion is to use a different card. If the card you were using worked before, then give me a description of the problem.

The card worked previously.
It's just that now I will get vanilla Brawl when I launch PM.
The stages are now mostly Hanenbow with "My Music" providing Battlefield music, while the second page has a lot of Pokemon Stadiums.
Also, trying to switch alt costumes with Pikachu causes it to freeze and make the beeping noise everyone knows.

Hmm... still sounds like the File Patch Code isn't working, but I've never had an SD card "go bad"... have you tried another card?

The problem isn't with the code itself, for some reason, the SD card doesn't load it correctly. The codes folder should contain RSBE01.gct, anything else in there doesn't affect anything. Try reformatting your card, but usually if it doesn't work, it stays that way... :(

Nothing really, just a new 2GB card is all. I think it has something to do with the SD card being worn out in some way, idk. I got a 2-pack of 2GB SD cards, both identical except for one different letter in the serial number, one works, one doesn't...

There's the problem. I should've asked that first, my bad. If 4GB is your only option, you'll need to replace the FPC in the gct with one designed for 4GB SD cards. You should be able to find one on KC-MM, if not, I'll give you a link to one.

Convert the gct to a txt using this, then use Ocarina Cheat Code Manager to open the txt, add the new code, uncheck the original FPC, then repack it into a new gct.

EDIT: Sorry for the slow response, needed to do a couple of things.

Ok, so 3.6 beta works, but not PM+... Last time I used it, it worked fine, but maybe something changed in the download... Let me check...

Just looked, hasn't been updated, and the newest version works fine for me... I'm not sure what the problem is... When you installed it, did you format the SD card?
