Luigis new game comes out on the 11th of August, which is also a month after olimars release, who was released a month after wii fit trainer. It all adds up perfectly.

Well a new moveset is a must for Luigi, as for the grouping...he'll stay in the Mushroom Kingdom group for sure. (btw I see this thread getting moved to the character section soon)Now the question is... Does he get a moveset rehall? And would that cause him to leave the Mario mushroom group and get his own Luigi game emblem like Wario?
Australia's popularity seems to be on the rise all of a sudden. I have heard of Marine service members claiming that they wanted to move to Australia after a visit to the Robertson Barracks.Well, he technically should have been revealed already due to M&L DT being out in Japan today and in Europe and Australia before that even! Why does Ninetendo all of a sudden care more about Europe and Australia than the Americans?

true I am tired of unlocking the same couple of guys over and over it's no longer excitingI would actually prefer the original 12 to simply be in the starting roster because it's not exactly a surprise when we run into them anymore and I'd prefer most of the unlockable characters to be newcomers.
Especially after over half of the unlockables in Brawl were veterans we've seen before. Honestly, what person would think Luigi wouldn't appear in a Nintendo All-Star fighting game?true I am tired of unlocking the same couple of guys over and over it's no longer exciting
This. I think the initial backlash that Brawl's roster got would have been severely reduced if they had made more of the Newcomers unlockable. In my opinion, this is what they should have done:Especially after over half of the unlockables in Brawl were veterans we've seen before. for a second I thought you meant that Luigi wouldn't be in the new smashI wouldn't have made Mr. Game & Watch a starter character. Back then people were still unsure if he was going to back (as in, he's a one-off novelty). I definitely agree with the rest but I guess Sakurai wanted to hype the game a little more and nothing gets people hyped than new characters. Can you imagine how people would feel if only veterans were shown on the DOJO?
As for Luigi, unless he becomes a starter (I'm in favour of that happening) I don't think we'll see him. I have a feeling they'll announce Zelda next with no game to advertise any time soon.
