Meanwhile, in the badlands of the Tycoonian Empire, Scavant hides away in the Purple Caverns, reading his own schemes on a scroll by candle-light. Suddenly, he hears a noise...

Tuss: (Hiss) Your worst nightmare... (lunges at Scavant)

Scavant backfists her as she approaches from the air, spinning out of reach.

Tuss: You are coming with me (rises from the ground)

Tuss suddenly whips Amos into a nearby wall with her tail, coils it around him, and throws him over the desk he was working on. She approaches the desk, only to be met with a smoke bomb, clouding her senses long enough for Scavant to escape into a corridor. After regaining the faculty of her senses, Tuss sprints down a hall, using her thermal vision to track him. Tuss renews the chase, gaining on Scavant with her superior speed. As Amos turns around to confront her, Tuss grabs him and throws him down to the cave floor. She tries to stomp on and trap him, but he transitions from a roll to a somersault, recovering. Scavant throws a knife at Tuss, but it merely deflects off of her scaly forehead as she charges him with a shoulder tackle that sends him to a wall, rendering him unconscious.

Tuss: (contacts Count Roneth) I have the weasel, Count.

Roneth: Good... You know what to do...

Tuss proceeds to detain Scavant near a landmark rock formation resembling a lion's head.
