Kinda Sorta OK at Smash
There are plenty of threads on the boards that will give you the information you are looking for as a new player. I suggest looking through those rather than asking individual questions in individual threads.

As for this particular question, you can't attack immediately out of shield in most cases. You can jump out of shield, which allows you to do many things. For instance, you can upsmash out of shield by inputing a jump right before you input the upsmash, you can wavedash out of shield, and you can jump and attack with an aerial out of shield. Also you can grab out of shield.

There are 3 main ways to do it; usmash, up b, and aerial. Jumping cancels shielding and you can cancel the jump with an up b or usmash
usmash = hit up and a at the same time
up b = hit up and b at the same time
aerial = short hop and do an aerial attack
you will have to wait for shield stun to expire before you can do anything out of shield
