yes, yes and yes but ylink shoots/throws shorter range then link.

and yes a bomb does cancel out samus' fully charged shot
this technique is so cool. a good way to use it is when ur on the ground with a bomb and the charged shot is coming ur way, u can backwards DI shorthop and drop the bomb while ur jumping back so that it falls into the shot.
then u can fast fall down and smash throw the boomerang lol

If you have SSBM, you would know that Young Link is too good. Such questions shouldn't be allowed.

Bombs have longer Hit Stun time than Link's thus MORE combo potential. Young Link's arrows charge quicker and have slight combo potential for maybe a quick dash attack or something. Link's arrows just suck. completely.

young link's arrows are stronger and his bombs hit two more times than link (link's hit 2, YL hits 4), the boomerang is also more versatile
