Hopefully this is a new trick Ike main can utilize to catch people off guard.

Though it's kind of tricky to do. Once you trapped your opponent in aether, pull away from the ledge and at the apex of aether hold back toward the stage. If you start holding toward the stage too early your opponent will land on the stage, if too late, you will die. Though you will bring your opponent down with you...

Haha, glad you enjoyed it. Doesn't take very long to "master" , but in my experience, once you get someone with it they won't come close to the ledge ever again if you're close to it. Which is nice, leave you plenty of space to recover. :)

Hmm, couple of things.

1) On stages with curves, like Palutena's Temple, it won't be as easy.
2) Your opponent needs to be on the VERY edge of the stage. If they're only near it, it will only drop them back onto the stage like a normal Aether.
3) You can use this technique even if you're a little lower than the ledge.

Yeah, on some stages it doesn't works very well or at all. And a good setup to catch people off guard with this is to wait for your invincibility frames to run out on the ledge and wait for your opponent to run and tru to Bair you or something. This will only work once though :p
