If your main found a Death Note, and the god of death following them was another character, what would happen?

Who is your main, and who is their shinigami (god of death)?

Bonus questions: If the death-god-version of a character is a fighter in Ultimate, do they have differences in appearance or ability from canon, or are they just themselves but can't die? Would your main use the Death Note (and if they did who/how would they kill?), or would they get rid of it?

Also if you have more than one main, feel free to do this for all mains you have.

For my mains, going with the shinigami being fighters from Ultimate to make it more interesting...

Skull Kid Mii (who I'll just say as Skull Kid since it looks just like him) would have Young Link as his shinigami. Death!YoungLink would probably look like his shadow alt. Skull Kid would probably use the Death Note at least once for laughs, but would have his victim do something ridiculous or amusing before they died, rather than pulling a Light Yagami and just having them die by heart attack.

Inkling probably would either get rid of the Death Note or use it to lure other Inklings into turf wars for fun since Inklings respawn (assuming she knew the names of her competitors). The shinigami might be Dark Samus since she was created from a pool of Phazon after Metroid Prime's defeat, so I guess that's kind of ink-ish. Dark Samus would look pretty much the same.

Mewtwo's actions with the Death Note would depend on if his characterization is pre-movie or post-movie. If it's pre-movie, he'd probably kill most of the trainers, scientist, and Pokemon owned by people on the planet. If it's post-movie I could see him getting rid of it, given the fact that he's learned about life by then. I guess Greninja might be the shinigami for him.

Ryu, and his shinigami is Kage from SFV. Ryu would probably chuck the Death Note over a waterfall.

Death Note is one of the few mangas/animes I actually enjoyed, so this is neat. When you asked who one's main is and their shinigami, I thought, I main Samus, and Dark Samus would be a perfect shinigami. She even has a phantom form. I think Samus would probably get rid of the Death Note or keep it hidden to prevent it getting into the wrong hands. Then there's Ridley, who is the "Cunning God of Death". He'd probably be a shinigami in his own right and likely wouldn't hesitate using it.
