If you could see the future, what would you spoil about the game?

My friend and I were talking about this just today. Except in the past: we'd travel back in time to when Sakurai was first getting his job. We would make better gaming pitches than him and take his job, making him go work for Microsoft. Then, our brilliant plan almost getting started: we would wait. We would wait until the N64 was being developed, we would then replace it with the Gamecube, making Nintendo a step ahead in technology. We would then give them a vision of a fighting game featuring Nintendo characters being hosted on tournaments and TV. Placing Melee as the original, we would travel back to the future, with there being no more unbalanced, casual Brawl. It would be called Brawl, but it would have the balance and strategy of Project M. And Nintendo would be leagues ahead of the world in programing. And Sony and Microsoft would go out of business, and Apple would be boss. At the head of Nintendo, would be Chuggaaconroy, with his secretary being Steve.

I'd s ay Funky Kong get in over King K. Rool.
And Anthony Higgs over Ridley.

Later I would reveal the Stages right before they are shown, just to make pepople believe it.

Personally, I'd go for the total amount of characters in the roster. I would reveal how many veterans and how many newcomers there are, and let everyone speculate on who made the cut.

I'd reveal characters the week before they were scheduled on the website. Then when I have the entire world hanging on my every word in-between reveals I would push my own political agenda.

I would reveal the roster when people predict character reveals to make up for Sakurai's lack of fanservice-sense.
