I'll always be disappointed in new Pokemon and Marioguys while Captain Falcon is the only F-Zero character.

But we're starting to get off track. I'm hoping the Shulk trailer involves him using Monado Buster against a giant and somewhat robotic space pterodactyl.

Probably because they are the most popular/diverse franchise Nintendo has.

I cant wait to see how Bowser Jrs trailer plays out with his clown car. Shadow Mario is non-existent now because there are no transforming characters

I don't argue against their popularity, but I do think that popularity is part of why they should give those roster spots to other characters. Mario fans already have plenty to love in Smash.

I'm a bit bitter about a 2nd clone, a clone that is not just a clone but literally the same character in a white lab coat. It screams lazy for a game that appeared to have so much intricate effort going in to it from all sides.

Duck Hunt dog, Shulk, Bowser Jr, I'm totally fine with. Lucina I let go as a one off, and at least it's a different character technically.

Toon Link has completely different physics than Link, and a couple of different moves, and these things make him feel very different even if his specials are nearly the same. Dr. Mario might be a bit more unique in Smash 4 than he was in Melee, but Melee Doc was a bigger clone in terms of how he actually played than Toon Link. It gets really annoying to continuously have to deal with people who only pay attention to specials when evaluating how much of a clone a character is.

I've never liked using fludd as mario, if doc mario has something to replace it I'd probably use him instead when I'm in a mario mood.

Another good trailer I'd like to see is a Dr. Mario & Wario trailer. If anyone played Dr.Mario 64 you'll understand why. You could put the Duck Hunt (Dog) in there too.

Dark Pit was on Palutena's Trailer, G&W on Pac-man's. I can't get any idea for a Bowser Jr. other that a "villian" trailer with Bowser and Ganondorf.

What I find interesting is it didn't. But neither did the Pac-Man one for game and watch, yet here he is. So if both characters shown at the end of the video are in the game then I see that as good enough for the trailers.

Also guys, can we not get off topic? I'm gonna restate that this thread is about the character trailers and not the aspects of characters or if the leak is fake or not.

DHD and Shulk - I'd like to hop onto that idea - seeing Shulk going around in an open field and then DHD laughing. It would be fun to watch at the very least.

Dark Pit - It would be cool if they somehow just continued where they left off on Palutena's trailer and had him fight Ganondorf.

Dr. Mario + Bowser Jr. - I agree that these two need to be featured together, but I'm not sure how.

I assume Bowser will appear in Jr.'s trailer somehow. Maybe his dad's fighting some characters, and he shows up to help him fight? I'm not super confident that he'll get a trailer in the first place, though obviously I really hope he does.

Shulk is more likely to get a trailer due to representing a new series (well, for Smash). Uh, it might be cool if the trailer started with something unfortunate happening (like, uh, some Nopon being attacked by Ganandorf or somefin), only for said incident to be revealed as a mere vision. Shulk would then show up to prevent the incident. Just spitballing here, I really have no clue what will actually happen with this one.

Duck Hunt Dog might not get one due to being a joke character, but I guess he's more likely than Jr. to get one. Perhaps a character with a gun/other notable projectile weapon (like Samus, Mega Man and Pit) is shooting at somefin and misses, with the dog appearing to laugh at them?

I doubt Pittoo will get one at all, I assume he's a secret character that was hinted at by putting him in the end of Palutena's trailer. If that wasn't the case, the teasing would be kind of...fucking pointless.

I'm kind of think a Ganondorf-R.O.B-Shulk Trailer. It shows R.O.B commanding an robot army and Shulk is taking them down, though R.O.B could be dressed as the Ancient Minister. Then, when Shulk is about to get killed, R.O.B comes and saves him. Then at the end the 2 are getting surrounded by robots and it shows Ganondorf laughing at the end, looking through a computer screen like he did in the subspace emissary.

I think we'll get at least one trailer before the Japanese release. Nintendo has Smash news at Pax this year, so maybe then.
