If Pit is your main. Who is your 2nd ?

I have been playing only with Pit , however I need to find a 2nd. If Pit is your main who is your 2nd or if Pit is your 2nd who is your main?
I have tried out a few characters but I have not found any one with the speed and recovery that Pit has.

Is there any characters that is similar to Pit or an easy transition for Pit players ? Any recommendation ?
My criteria are ( in order )
1. Good Recovery
2. Speed
3. Air Combos

Just choose MK! You really dont need to give a shi* to what people think abbout you! If they say that "omnomonmnomno you only won cause of the meka tnight and his 1337-ban-hax skill" tell them the following sentece:

along with pit, i use pika and zelda. with those three i can usually beat pretty much any char i play against pretty consistently....except MK.....then its just a long tedious set of Pika vs meta.....and usually its pretty hard fought

This is a totally Biased answer since i <3 Kirby, i play him in every game possible

I 2nd Kirby. He has decent aerials, Good recovery (Not as good but it there) better kill power and.... avg speed.

He has good grab combos in low percentage

I use Ike but am kinda thinking about Marth too.

If you want a character that is a lot like Pit the Meataknight and Kirby are the two best options (especially MK!)
If you want a secondary that is good against the characters that Pit is bad against then I would say Snake, he's really good against G&W, he's got a slight advantage on Marth and he's not to bad against Metaknight.
I'm pretty sure is good against Wario as well but I'm not sure about that one.

DIddy is a good 2nd to main imo..u have all ur bases covered with Diddy...Snake is a good pick as well

The idea is to actually play a different style to fight other type of enemies. For instance if maybe a certain match up like Pit vs Wario, lets say its not gonna play good in your favor. Then try some of Marth, for size.

Two same types will get you nowhere.

I second marth and well...let's throw in future MK. Marth because of his Fairs and his aerial metagames. Mk well...he's MK.

Should your 2nd be a different style then your first?

Your 2nd should be a character that cleans up all of your bad match-ups. Usually a character that has the same play style as Pit is going to have match-ups that are about the same as his.
So yes, you probably should have a character that has a different style to your main.

Snake's ur probably ur best place when u exclude MK (who should be banned anyways), though the problem with that is both Snake and Pit have a slight disadvantage with Falco, who isnt completely hard as far as matchup ratios go.
