Ideas for practicing teching

So after playing against real players for the first time in awhile, the first thing I noticed I had a problem with was teching properly. People have given me a lot of ideas to practice teching by myself (lv9 CPUs, the pit in Hyrule Temple), but I never really felt like I was getting anything out of those ideas.

Anybody have any good methods for practicing teching by yourself?

Do you have the 20XX Hack Pack? It's probably the best way to train alone.

Otherwise, you can use Dolphin on your computer. There's an AR Code that allows you to see when you L-cancel (so you don't have to rely on knowing the animation/frame differences) but after that, there's not much else you can do. Lv 7 CPUs have mixed DI. Lv 9 CPUs always DI up (if I'm not mistaken at least...) So practicing combos on Lv 7 CPUs is your best bet.

Go to Fox and Falco's "Break the targets!" and tech the hot boxes.

Training mode. Then spawn motion sensor bombs and throw them onto the side of the ledge and try to recover/tech
