I don't really want to do a 1 point...
So let's ditch that one off the bat...

Okay, so, in my art class, I have to do a 2/3 Point perspective picture...
Obviously, the most done pictures are of building...

So...
Being the nerd that I am, I wanna do one from Zelda!
Ocarina of Time...
It's the only one I can pop into the 64 to get material from...

So any suggestions on what people wanna see?
I was probably gonna do Hyrule Market...

But does anyone have any other ideas that they'd like to see done?
It'll look awesome :3

Ideas please!
I like gettin insight from others! :D

...Focal...points?
I know what the clock tower and moon look like, So I might give that a try...

and Lon Lon ranch? Hmmm >w<

Like... looking at the house?
Or looking at the shed?
Looking at the ranch?
Any idea on how you'd wanna see it?
2 point, 3 point?

I may not go with yours if I don't find it fun enough though...
Just tell me what you wanna see and I'll try though :D

Focal point is like one of the main focuses in your piece. Like what will draw attention.

Also, for more Zelda know, contact Spire III. He's the mod of the Zelda boards, and a beast at Zelda.

He's also a really good artist, and a nice guy. The trifecta.

@ Smurfy EXE - Hate you? No way. Just because I locked that OoT thread of yours doesn't mean I dislike you at all. It's my job to keep the LoZ forum clean and because we already had an OoT thread, I had to close yours. No sweat ;)

@ Chaco - thanks for the heads up man.
Magikarp4ever.

Now back to the 2/3-point perspective. I'll whip up an example soon and point out the discrepancies. To try and explain it here..

.. first establish your horizon line (you don't have to actually draw it) and put two points on it. These are your first two points of perspective. Say each point is three inches from the sides of the paper (landscape, not portrait view). I'm assuming you know how to do 1-pt perspective, so 2-pt isn't all that different. If you draw buildings to the left and right of these points (meaning off of the edges of the paper), then you would treat them as 1-pt perspective buildings with angles measured to the one point of relevance. However, buildings drawn within this two point range would have to be justified to both. Here's a shoddy example I just made:

And on that note, I'll get back to you on 3-pt later on.

I would do the inside of the Moon, with the huge tree in the middle, but that's just my fanboy dream.

You could also try out the mill in Kakariko Village.
