Okay this is really simple. You know how you can change your controls in brawl with a name tag? Well how about for sm4sh you can also disable your characters moves in options! For an example a jiggly puff player could disable sing(up special) so the jiggly puff could rising pound without fear of a deadly tech error.

This would make certain advance techniques much easier to casuals and hardcore players.

The times I have unintentionally fallen to my death while singing can hardly be counted. I'd support this.

Yeah and wifi brawl lag makes it worse. This could be like counter picking in compentative play where you can disable one of your opponents moves(except for up special) ... No more tornado for you meta knight :) ... Yeah this would be abused quickly.

I don't really understand this. Does the Up+B gets substituted by one of the others or it simply doesn't work anymore? It could work I guess, but I'd never use it.

If it wasn't obvious enough, it would illustrate the horribadness of some moves, but otherwise I see no reason for this existing. Instead of accidentally singing, why don't you get good and perfect your pound execution? lolxrubsgit#rekd
I used to have a huge problem with not being able to do the f-tilt without moving 5 feet (tilted too slow and waited too long to press a) or smashing (too soon/sudden tilt), I just practiced and 'never' failed 'ever' again. Same thing with the Luigi 'nado.
But, really, I've seen pros (Hbox where you at?) do the infamous singacide before, and while this would be nice, I see no real reason for it. Proper execution is still important, and while I do not like L-canceling because it is 'depthless' and I'm a scrub at it, I must insist that we not be able to disable certain moves. At least, that's my objection to your justification.

And remove an entire move from your in-game arsenal?
That's even more suicidal, so no, I do not support this silly idea.

then don't use it lol this won't even affect you... this is for people who wanna get rid of a move for ats..... besides jigglys sing only punishs rolling and spot dodging at high percents.....only on brawl. in melee this move is super horrid

If you were to be able to disable a move, that would imply that the character was designed poorly, and this is only curing a symptom of the problem from the way you described this option.

Even with that said, I support this idea anyways, because I'm all for more customization over your character/gameplay. Even if it's an option to remove something. It'll make you realize how important it is later, and make you learn other tricks with your other moves as well.

Well, I don't use any characters that would particularly benefit from this. Nevertheless, I support this 100%, simply because it would in fact help other characters, and might even pave the way for further customization options in the future.

Makes me wonder if Sakurai has the mentality of "make it perfect first, then release it". You'd be surprised how many games I've seen try to fix a problem, and more problems arise because of that, and then leads to the company going out of business because they fixed stuff wrong and made most of their community leave the company.
I'm not saying Sakurai's method is perfect, but I can see why he would want to avoid using patches.

This is going to be Geno's stage. The Forest Maze. Bowyer comes out and disables attack types.
