I formally disagree. The Iceclimbers introduced a new element to gameplay. Double teams, and ice! Lots and lots of Ice. Their stage was a little gimicky at first, but moving added an element of strategy to the battles. And the two on one thing had its flaws and bonuses. They were actually pretty tough together, but you had to stick together.

The IC's are neat. Having the partner play is really unique, and a nice change of pace from a standard character.

You didn't post any real reason for disliking them. What's wrong with them? And don't mention their stage again; that's no reason.

Just thought of this. Anti: You can't control Nana (or Popo depending on the costume you chose)
Pro: Switching the costumes switches the climbers. They're the reason we have freezies. And inifinite glacier reminds me of the original game. And an Ice Climbing Final Smash would be wicked!
Improvement I'd like: Perhaps a co-op option. I doubt if anyone would use it, or an option to fly Ice Solo but it would be interesting. Not nessecary, but a neat improvement.

Ice climbers are classic characters that opened up a new style of gameplay for the franchise. They are actually very unique character unlike Dr. Mario, Pichu, ect. You have nothng that backs your statement up besides saying there annoying...And that isn't exactly much of an argument.

YES! I hate them because they are one of the most unique characters in Melee, and they're retro characters, and because there are two of them, their attacks are better and desynching and that weird glitch where you freeze people and beat them up! ...YEAH!

But seriously, taking out the Ice Climbers would be... bad.

Okay, first off. Yes, Dixie is classic. But... Diddy can stand alone. Check on the rep, this moveset is second to none.

A Button = Tripple hand swipe (Kind of like Donkey's combination)
Forward A = Tennis Racket (Like Peach's Smash Attack)
Down A = Tail Sweep (Sweeps his tail around himself)
Up A = Throws orange grenade (Like in DK 64)
Arial A = Tail Whip (Swats enemies with his tail)
Arial Forward A = Swipe (Swipes forward)
Arial Down A = Tail Spike (Somewhat like pikachu's)
B = Banna Boomerang (Just like in Power Tennis)
B ^ = Jetpack (Flies upwards with an uppercut)
B > = Peanut Poppers (Uses DK64's Guns)
B V = Electric Guitar (A weaker version of Konga Beat)

Final Smash = Minecart Meyham (Manifests a track, rides around the stage chucking barrels of TNT on other Smashers)

Secondly, back on topic, I do agree that there can be others that can fight in pairs. I'm Pro Omalir-Louie. Just as long as they have unique movsets. And the Ice Climbers made the starting roster last time, so odds are they will return and have earned the right to be Super Smash Brothers Brawlers.

Go the site and look at the stages. "Rumble Falls" looks like it'll play out exactly like Icicle Mountain or whatever it was called.

I don't really like that kind of stage, but at least it's unique. So are the Ice Climbers.

It's Rumble Falls. Also the Ice Climbers as a duo was sensible due to the co-op play, which was unique at the time I suppose.

Somebody should really make a poll about whether or not characters should get cut. He or she should have IC, G&W, Pichu, Doc Mario, Falco, Marth, Roy, Ness, Jigglypuff, Mewtwo, Young Link, and Shiek. These characters to me seem to be some of the more controversial characters that people argue about whether or not they deserve to be in Brawl. I think it may settle SOME arguements.

Are you retarted? First of all, Olimar and Louie team would be worse than Diddy and Dixie team and Plulse and Minum team combined. There is way too much potential with those Pikmin to make him have a teammate.

Also, TP just came out, smart guy. Pikmin and TP both came out after Melee. How would they have had those instead of ICs? Anyway, you obviously have no good reason to say what you're saying; so I'm done.

If you want your fellow ic haters to back you up, you should add some logical reasons for your distaste for them.

Otherwise this just ends up as a flame war.

Also, ic are great balanced characters. (disregarding infinite grab) So I have to disagree with.......the...um....point you didn't make.
