I wouldn't be surprised if...Brawl was already in the top 10 or so best selling Wii games.

By that I mean, in total reserves, it has out sold most other games.


Why would I think this?
Brawl has hype, tons of it, (I assume) almost every person who owns melee knows and wants Brawl, and thus, will reserve their copy.


How can I be sure?
A month before it's relese, Halo 3 was THE BEST selling 360 game. Halo is way overhyped, but it was still #1, Brawl has less hype, so one could come to the conclusion that it has so many reserves on it, it aalready outsold many games. (yes, Microsoft did not make 150 mil on the first day, they have been accumlating that money for a while)



Ok, now that I have layed my thoughts, counting reserves (including upcomign games like galaxy) where do you think Brawl stands on the top sales?

Since Halo was 07, and Brawl will be 08, yes it is the most anitipated game, and im guess it will be the best modern seller EVER for Nintendo, since I doubt it would sell the 40 million copies that super mario bros. sold for the nes. What would make me amazed is if it outsold wiisports, which is packaged with every Wii EXCEPT the wiis in Japan.

He is just saying that b/c tommorrow is when galaxy comes out. I don't think Brawl will eb the most reserved until a month or less before it's relese.

I don't own a Wii, have not reserved Super Smash Bros. Brawl, I have Melee, and I want Brawl.

You're think way too small. Brawl will easily be the best selling game for Wii for the rest of time and a little bit after that. Melee was the best selling game for Gamecube and I don't see why Brawl should be any different.

I personally reserve games for two reasons: One to guarentee a copy, and two so I can pay off the game entirly, there is nothing worse than being 2 dollers short ebcause you forgot tax.

There is no doubt that this game will sell a lot just like Melee did, without doubt it'll be at the top of Wii's best selling games.

I'm guessing that there isn't a single person on this board who's going to get Brawl and re-sell it. That is quite unlikely.
