I really need help.

I'm starting to get extremely frustrated with this game. What doesn't help is that I end up playing a douchebag of a Little Mac who constantly teabags and preemptively taunts. I usually find LM to be pathetically easy to fight, but this one I couldn't touch. He'd constantly, and I mean CONSTANTLY spam smash attacks and I couldn't punish or hit him because of it. I tried MegaMan who is my main and I couldn't even get projectiles out quick enough before he'd rush me down. The hell am I supposed to do? I couldn't hit him when he was offstage because he'd just airdodge then up b if I tried to bait it. This is seriously so incredibly frustrating.

That Leaf Shield tip should really come in handy. Any tips for using Samus or G&W against him?
