I really cannot beat this meta, can you give me tips?

I'm winning by a stock and keeping well, then all the sudden what do you know the shuttle loop KOs me at 36 percent. It's just aggrivating does anyone actually counter this guy? I've seen people say snake and falco do but thats ridiculous because one of their hardest matchup is actually metaknight. The freakin least thing sakurai could do is give the drill rush or tornado lag upon landing... so stupid...

Shield more? Use projectiles if you can. Getting better at predicting his attacks and spotdodging also helps a lot. At least, these are the problems other people give me when I'm Meta Knight...

Spot dodging only gave him another reason to spam the tornado, projectiles didn't work because this one especially liked getting in my face. I didn't know what to do honestly, if I just approached or played offensively either way it always ended with him doing some gay *** move

I'm going to have to say "get better" because you just said Meta Knight is a hard matchup for Snake, when in reality, Snake is the hardest matchup for Meta Knight.

I meant attacks OTHER than his Tornado (his smashes, mostly). Just don't overdo it.

Quicker attacks really. If you're maining Shiek, you need to dodge around a lot...Vanish helps. I'm not too good with Shiek though so I have no clue what to do other than that. D:

maybe you just play a bad shiek..... i don't have problems with mk when i play shiek, mostly b/c i know how to react to all of the moves, but either way, switching to zelda might not hurt, dins fire can really hurt MK, and usmash can kill at low %

Snake ***** MK. Also against bad MK's (which is a large majority of them) just shield a lot and counter everything they do. A lot of brawl players haven't discovered spacing yet and you can easily **** them over by playing defensively.

i'll give it a try chrome, i'll see if i can convince a buddy to play MK for a bit, but make sure to take advantage of his light weight, and shiek has surprising priority in the air, gimpyfish recently made a great post in the shiek forum

Aren't sheik's ariels just beaten by that dinky sword, the bair is all she has and its a pretty mediocre move with absolutely no KO potential until pretty high percents. The nair is kind of a spacer though but I could only pull it off low to the ground.
