You see my SD card slot broke a while back. So now I can't use the file replacement code. But I can iso hack. But I need a code along with a hack. How would I apply a code, to a brawl iso?

I also know about the usb gecko that loads gct files off a flash drive. Now when I use the file replacement code with this nothing happens. Is there a way to map the file replacements to the usb? I need some serious help. Thanks.

Not necessarily. I don't know much about code making, but basically its just hex editing, right? So, if you can find the file PW hex edited to make the File Patch Code, you can copy that code into the file in the ISO. I also don't know anything about ISO hacking, so I might be wrong.

Not quite. GeckoOS is designed to patch RAM. RAM is what the game writes to system memory. You'd have to do a lot of manual labor.

BTW how do you break your SD slot anyways? o,O

As Dantarion stated in another topic, unless TranslateIOS comes out, loading files from USB isn't going to happen. Since Brawl doesn't have access to USB (just SD cards), it can't load from USB at all.

You can, however, use WiiScrubber to put PAC files into the game, it's going to be a pain doing so one by one though. =(

I can load gct files off my usb. It's just that the file replacement code doesn't work.

Exactly. File replacement uses Brawl's internal support for SD to load and stream from SD. Brawl doesn't have USB support, so there's no USB file replacement.

I know Homebrew can read off of USB (thus the GCT), Brawl can't. File Replacement codes are made for the SD card only.

The only problem is you can't embed/patch a GCT into the Brawl ISO itself, we need the source code for that =/
