I need some criticism.

I'm working on become competitive as a Marth player, and I figured I'd take some videos so I can get an opinion from better players on how I can improve.

I have one video for now against a CPU, but I'll be trying to get more videos against human players to add them as soon as I can. Thanks for any tips.

We can't accurately judge if you play against a CPU, wait until you get some human v human matches.

iirc CPU ROB fights nothing like real ROB.
You can beat high level CPUs with a lot of smart aggression. You need a mix of defensive play and offense to beat humans; that's the key difference here. There's not nearly as many mindgames associated and CPUs basically have a limit to how good they can be.

I can talk about some of your play.

I thought you were a little over aggressive at times. That works against CPUs, but not so much against humans. Your move selection is good as you generally used good moves at good times, but I saw quite a few misses. Your precision needs a little work.

All in all you seem to be ok. Though I reserve my final judgment for when you post a vs. Human fight.

i mean this was pretty much a beatdown on a pretty bad wolf not much to say the stage is particularly bad for him and his playstyle (not using any aerials)

honestly you were dominating so thoroughly its hard to say where you could improve. one thing i noticed is you don't fast fall at all after full hops or short hops, and you should probably short hop more but you may have deliberately been full hopping because of the stage you were on/opponent you were facing.

but I will say the times he got you down you didn't tech not sure if it was a mistake or if you just don't tech you should work on it if you don't
