At school we where given the task of doing a slide show on a subject of our choice. After pondering my options I dicided I would do one on logical fallacies. While showing and explaining the logical fallacies is a non issue, I am on a time limit during my presentation. So, I need to know what are the most common logical fallacies you encounter. I plan on doing a top ten so to speak of the most common logical fallacies. Which ones do you think I should do?

First you need to determine in which environment the fallacies occur (e.g. politics). Then you need to determine what criteria are needed to form a top ten. THEN you get to choose to fallacies, which is the easiest part.

Did you seriously ask a question that is answered in the first couple of sentences on the wiki page?
No he did not, he is talking about the different types of logical fallacies which are broken down into two main categories. Formal and informal, he is asking me which type am I doing my school project on.

I would suggest that you stick with more basic logical fallacies and simply go into detail for them. When you get into an area that is too complex especially for something such as this you might not keep your audience interested during the presentation.

I would suggest that you use the fallacies that one would find in everyday arguments/politics to make it more accessible. I say that you focus on strawman arguments/generalizations/affirming the consequent.

Those tend to be the fallacies most people are guilty of and easiest to understand.

Yes he did. He asked a question that was answered in the first couple of sentences of the page. If you hadn't known before seeing that page, you would've known after.
