I need a good video capture card that isn't terribly expensive. I just want it in the best quality possible for my comeback AMV. I've seen the guide but it doesn't do much for me.

@Ruuku: That looks really good for being the lowest setting.

@Xanskarr: How is the video output recording directly playing on the computer any different from the y-splitters played on the tv while recording to the computer? I thought all the y-splitters did was make it so that they both worked at once, so it's like you're doing it directly on the computer anyway.

Is there any way to stop that loud buzzing noise that they have in the output videos? Also, is there any way to make it lag less? (other than having a better computer)

Does putting it on a lower quality make it so that the buzzing noise goes away? Same with the lag.

EDIT: Sorry for the DP. I had to ask the questions though.

the quality of the videos are outstanding i must say
this is the lowest quality setting

everything is fine other than that the blocks dont flash like they normally do. must be because the GB skips frames or something. doesnt matter, the video isnt skippy or laggy at all, and it sound is just fine too. maybe you have a problem with your soundcard or the sound connection?

but of course if you're going to use your laptop/computer as a TV it will lag. thats why i play on my TV and record on the computer, its really easy. you just need to follow the guide thats already in these forums.
