Uh... so what was it exactly that inspired you to make this?
I mean, it's obviously a fine piece of work; I can almost feel the gamepad in front of me.
How much would you estimate this costs with the TV?

Well, sorry, with the first comment you kinda came off as someone like Renji64, but you don't really seem to be the kind of DOUCHE who calls people unskilled just because they prefer another game than their oh-so-glitchy-amazing Melee. That is fair. There must certainly have been a misunderstanding. What I was attempting to express was my hypothetical satisfaction in the event that the bundle comes packaged with a controller I'd feel comfortable playing Smash on, whether that be a GameCube controller remake or a Wii U Pro. Either one works. I just don't want to have to use the standard Gamepad or Wiimote.
However, it was the jump to conclusions I took offense with, to say nothing of the very notion that someone isn't allowed the decency of enjoying the GameCube controller should they choose to prefer it. If I want to use a GameCube controller, I'll use a GameCube controller. That being said, I'd much rather invest in a Pro than a GCN adapter, but if a Smash bundle comes packaged with an upgraded GCN controller (or a Pro for that matter), I'm sold either way.
I'm pretty disgusted with this community clinging to the gamecube controller. Its actually not a very good controller. Its only advantage in Brawl is that it is WIRED, which the Wii U doesn't do anyway.
Controllers have evolved into much more effective designs across all platforms really. Nintendo just took longer to get it right. N64 has a horrible controller and while the gamecube was good, the wii u pro is better (as is the classic controller after you get past the dangling wiimote).
I was going to like your post. The I saw that bit of Meelist baiting at the end. I agree that Melee is just one game in the wonderful smash series, but I'd rather have people stick to their precious Melee then get tired of it and insist that the next iteration be Melee 2.0. Also smash boards is supposed to be a safe place for people who are overly obsessed with smash brothers; can we really judge people harshly for being a bit more obsessed then us with one particular iteration? The funny thing is that Wiimote+Nunchuck works incredibly well. ****ing meleetards.
Man this is awesome. I especially like how that Wii U looks

People use GC for brawl because its the only option for wired play.
Mavy top players use wii remote and suffer from wireless interference despite it being a more comfortable controller for them (Ultimate Razer, Tearbear, Pwii etc.)
For those of you that think the Wii controllers simply wouldn't be able to handle fast inputs, I've known dozens of Brawl only players that have gone through multiple gamecube controllers just from playing Brawl. Meanwhile I still have the perfectly functioning controllers I got in 2008. Gamecube controllers aren't even durable and Wii U does not support wired inputs at the moment (though we can use keyboards and whatnot, so this may be a good sign for the Wii U pro USB control).
I disagree about the GCN controllers. I feel, next to the SNES controller, the GCN controller is the best controller Nintendo ever designed. I doubt Smash 4 will come with a special wireless gamecube controller or if the Wii U will ever have a GCN controller design, but if they did I would gladly dish out the money for it. I don't care how "clung" you think I may be I love that controller.
...That said Smash Bros. can be played pretty comfortably with any controller set up. I can count on my fingers how many times I've tried it with the Wii Remote alone, but at least it's responsive. My only gripe is that with the Wii Remote and Wiimote+Nunchuck, you can't short hop.
And finally, on to the actual main topic of this thread...LOL at the design of that gamepad...and does it really come with a flatscreen? lmao What would the price be of this bundle?
How about the bundle just containing a blue Wii U, with a blue gamepad with Smash Bros for Wii U, the game itself, and a special concept art booklet or something? You can make it the exact same for the 3DS bundle, just swap a blue Wii U for a blue 3DS. Nice and simple.

Thats a silly questionsWhy the gamecube controller?
Thanks manThat's one sick looking Wii U
