**** the Gamecube controller
Wii U Pro will work fine

But they definitely need to do something like they did with Windwaker HD bundle
Maybe something a little more subtle than those examples but great job editing them together

Console would look cooler if it was black with white outlining the characters. The gamepad looks a little funky as well. Overall pretty nice job though, would love to see a bundle in the future.f

I think the ideal bundle would be the game, the Wii U, a Pro Controller, and figurines of the Original 8.

With the Wii U having a blue color scheme, and a white Smash logo embedded onto it. Same with GamePad.

It's... It's pretty bad. Like, really.
Why the hell did you put the roster on the disc entry? Why not over the side?
Also the GamePad. It's ugly.
And at this point, the Gamecube controller should be wireless. I mean, it's 2014.

3/10 wouldn't buy even if I'm a fanboy.

Unfortunately, I agree with the above poster.
I appreciate the effort, but this does not look good.

APC99 has a great idea on the Wii U and Gamepad design - blue with white smash logo. Nice and simple.
And bundling in the Pro Controller would be a much better idea.

Is it just me, or does that Gamepad design look like Mario is grabbing at his A$$? Is it metaphorical that the touch-screen is in between the cheeks.

As admittedly tasteless as the overall designs are (the goatse Gamepad, the wired GameCube controller, the print over the disc drive), I'd still buy this bundle if it were released. Bundling Smash and an appropriate controller with the console would be all the incentive I needed to invest in a Wii U.

You have to admit it would be really funny if nintendo came out with this gamepad

I'm pretty disgusted with this community clinging to the gamecube controller. Its actually not a very good controller. Its only advantage in Brawl is that it is WIRED, which the Wii U doesn't do anyway.

Controllers have evolved into much more effective designs across all platforms really. Nintendo just took longer to get it right. N64 has a horrible controller and while the gamecube was good, the wii u pro is better (as is the classic controller after you get past the dangling wiimote).

I prefer the Classic Controller Pro over the Gamecube and Wii U Pro controllers, myself.

GC Controller is just a great controller man. It feels good and it has awesome shoulder buttons. Pro Controller is cool though, but I think it will be better for a first person shooter than for smash because of the two sticks and their placement.

The console has like 5 appropiate controllers that aren't the Gamecube Controller, move on from Melee please.

Yeah wii and nunchuck prevents you from doing ats in brawl so you lose a lot of tech skill. The gamecube controller works and will work again in sm4sh.

I don't have that much of a problem with the bundle, I understand the idea. But the Gamepad is just weird, why not a white gamepad with the 4 most standard fighters (Mario,Link,Kirby and Pikachu).

The GamePad should just have icons. The Smash Bros. icon in the middle, and the icon of the other franchises scattered all over it.
Surely even my face is a better representative of Super Smash Bros. than what the OP did.

Only now do I realize the GamePad is Mario opening up his a** through his overalls.

What the f***?

I love how people to tell people to move on from the GC and they play brawl you wouldn't need good inputs in that game anyway lmao. But the GC is perfect for the hands and smash due to the buttons the A button is big i never get them mix up or make too many mistakes. :/ People crying over controller perferences then you play brawl lmao.

Yes I agree you can't imput with a wii remote in brawl. And at the compentitave level people always use gc controller.

Just because I find the GameCube controller to be an appropriate controller for Smash, doesn't mean I find it to be the only appropriate controller. I am fully willing to use the Wii U Pro, and if that were bundled instead, I'd consider it just as fine a deal.

But yeah, I suppose all of that Smash 64 I play without an N64 controller shows a lot about how reliant I am on the GameCube controller. And how my interest in the 3DS version of the game demonstrates my unwillingness to "move on from Melee."

Of course, even if I were somehow incapable of "moving on" from Melee, that's not affecting you in any way, so I see no logic in your request of me doing so.

I think it simply came off the wrong way with how you labelled the Gamecube Controller as an "appropriate controller", kind of made it sound as if there isn't any appropriate choices at this time.

That is fair. There must certainly have been a misunderstanding. What I was attempting to express was my hypothetical satisfaction in the event that the bundle comes packaged with a controller I'd feel comfortable playing Smash on, whether that be a GameCube controller remake or a Wii U Pro. Either one works. I just don't want to have to use the standard Gamepad or Wiimote.

However, it was the jump to conclusions I took offense with, to say nothing of the very notion that someone isn't allowed the decency of enjoying the GameCube controller should they choose to prefer it. If I want to use a GameCube controller, I'll use a GameCube controller. That being said, I'd much rather invest in a Pro than a GCN adapter, but if a Smash bundle comes packaged with an upgraded GCN controller (or a Pro for that matter), I'm sold either way.

Its just something new and smash based. Im not sure, inspiration struck me and i had to share it with my fellow smashers
Uh... so what was it exactly that inspired you to make this?

I mean, it's obviously a fine piece of work; I can almost feel the gamepad in front of me.

How much would you estimate this costs with the TV?
