One of the best parts of Pac-Man's inclusion in Smash is that they made him so happy. It's one of the reasons I love Pac-Man so much; he's always happy about what he's doing, and he makes you feel happy because of that :D

Pac-Man's portrayal in Smash exudes this type of blissful happiness that no other character can quite match. While the perpetually smiling Villager can be read as a troll, Pac-Man's smile shines through as something wholly genuine. It's like he knows how important he is, but is too good-natured to hold that against anyone, and he's instead focused solely on how happy he is to be there.

He gives a thumbs up as an idle animation. It is glorious. More so when he does it at the end of a match.

I'm hype that Pac-Man is in the game, I enjoyed the original Pac-Man as a kid, and I also enjoyed the Pac-Man World games. Nintendo showed Pac-Man honor and respected him quite well.
