It would appear that this installment of Smash Bros. has a wide scope for customization.

We've seen that we can create our own stages (possibly the best thing ever), there's a large degree of freedom in the "Special Brawl" mode, we can choose from a large selection of music to play during battles, and of course that cryptic message on the "Team" update:

"There’s a method of powering yourself up as needed to do battle with the Subspace Army – a method that has not been seen before."

What other customizations do you think we might see? The favourite seems to be movesets. What about custom palette-swaps, Soul Calibur III style? Will we be able to customize the menus with the stickers we collect? What about the item options? Will we be able to choose which Pokemon and Assist Trophies we want to see, and which we don't?

I think we've probably got a lot of unexpected bonuses in store for us that may have not even crossed our minds...

Update - Dug up this little tidbit, you may have forgotten about:
"We’re also considering allowing you to save your name to the memory in your Wii Remote so you can bring your settings with you to your friend’s house..."

Huh. This one seems to have slipped under the radar.

Maybe your character learns new moves over the course of SSE? Like an experience-point thing? If that were the case, it would be cool if new moves you unlocked in SSE could be used in other modes as well. . .But I'm not pinning my hopes on this just yet.

Of course there will be an item switch on Online.

But the real question is...

Will these options only be availbe on Friend Code Mode?

Yeah, we've had so many good updates lately (Sonic and Stage Builder to name a couple) that there's a few things that have been said on the Dojo that people may have forgotten about. I've been scanning the Dojo a bit, to see if there's any interesting old news...

Customizable palettes is the feature I won't the most for brawl right now. I think it would be so awesome to be orange ivysaur, pink snake, or brown kirby. Alas, Sakurai proabably won't implement this.

One little thing I'd love to see is Team Brawl without team colors. Do you realize how stupid Mario and Luigi look on a team? Either Mario becomes green over brown, Luigi becomes pink over red, or they both get f*cked up to be blue.

We've already seen Mario with an exact Luigi palatte. He's still got his Wario colours, as well, so that doesn't mean Luigi's not in it, by the way.
