I just noticed, but snake has a huge amount of detail

that's just insane, snake looks like an actual person there. it's even worse when you compare it to this:

I must say, they are paying a lot of attention to the 3rd party characters in this. it makes Ike and PT look like they're made out of some sort of plastic. look at PT's hair, too. it's pretty plain :\

the other characters are so.. under par when compared to Snake. I hope they shape the others up a little bit before the final build of the game.

Not really, that's just because Ike and PT have the "Anime" look, compare him to Bowser for example.

Snake needs the detail to make him look normal. Pit, PT, Ike, etc, need a more simple, anime look to look like themselves. Hence PT's huge eyes compared to Snake's.

I mean, you wouldn't expect Kirby to have as much detail as Bowser. That's just cuz Kirby is a more simple character model.

Also, PT is just chilling in the background. I'd expect him to have less detail, like I'd expect a stage element or an AT to have less detail.

I do think third party characters are getting first class treatment, but not like that.

I believe Snake and Sonic are unlockable.

Anyways, it's obviously just a difference in style. Do you want Pokemon Trainer to look like Snake? Honestly?

His character model is based off snake from MGS2, and he looks like snake from MGS2 in terms of detail.

If they made pokemon trainer look all detailed then it just wouldn't be right.

but the style's of characters are changing (like both DKs, mario, lucas, etc.) and I think he deserves an update as much as them.

at least his pokemon are detailed.
