I have a Wireless Router (D-Link Dl-524 w/ Default setting), But Need Some Help!

Hi, I found my D-Link Wireless Router & upgraded the FW,

I played a few games & its abit laggy, I know is also depends on the other player as well but lets assume that the other player has a good connection,

"Is there any settings that I can change to Improve the Online Gameplay ...?"

All settings are default, except for WEP & Channel,

I was wondering if anyone could help me set it up to reduce the Lag,

Here Are some settings

Channel is set to: 11 (Should I Change The Channel To Something Else? Or Should I Enable "AutoSelect

JumpStart: Disabled

DHCP Server: Enabled

DMZ: Disabled

WAN: Dynamic IP Address Selected ( Should I Select "Static IP Address"?)

WAN Link Speed: 10/100Mbps Auto

DHCP: Server : Enabled

Static DHCP" Disabled

I also have one of these. Do not change the broadcast channel, 11 is IMO the clearest one for Wii-Fi. Set TX rate to 54 (can be found under Advanced->Performance). Other than that, I think you're running with optimal settings.

WAN: Dynamic IP Address Selected ( Should I Select "Static IP Address"?)

I heard changing this would improve gameplay, I think

quick question,

does having your PC On & Connected to the Internet would interfere with your Wii? like IP address conflict etc...

couse I'm getting disconnect in the middle of a game
