I am entering the tourney at gamestop, and i was wondering if Cpt. Olimer is a good char/ easy to get used to. I mean will he be good to use or should i use someone more familiar.

Probably belongs in character discussion for future reference.

But I wouldn't recommend Olimar, he doesn't play like other characters and the learning curve might be kind of high to try IN the tourney.

Try someone like Luigi IMO.

pit is a great pick up and play chacetrs from what i heard no olimar i heard he is hard to get used to

I hear Pit. Or Mario.

Olimar is more advanced, but he's **** good.

i wouldn't start with olimar, start with someone with a more basic moveset you can use right away, pit or fox maybe?
