seriously, they ruin samus's long range game

any good ways to get around them? right now i shoot a missle, then the shot...most people dont expect it and were about to rush in for a attack, so that works for noobs, but for more advanced players, am I screwed?

don't use SMs or charge shots in long range, and make sure you have a setup for them. Charge shots work best midrange, almost like if you were to punish with a smash attack but needed a bit more range. Once Samus starts to flash, people start to use their reflectors. Abuse their precaution and zair punish their reflectors, then if they dont tech, try to follow up with the charge shot. Sometimes it's better to go for the dtilt/fsmash/utilt/bair/dair instead of the charge shot. :]

You have to practice samus' physical game and aerial combos, blablabla. It takes time, but you have to think of missles as a bonus to her character, not a huge part of her.

No, yur not screwed, lolz.

1st off, If yur gonna use any kind of missile, let it b a homing.
Sure they get reflected, but they dont go very far at all. And sometimes, they dont go much of anywhere, depending on how far away u are from the oppenent,.

2nd, dont chase yur missiles like u would with every1 else. If u missile > Dash attack u may get punished by ur own missile o.O

3rd Zair ownz here, its pretty much ur 4th projectiles due 2 its range. If u spam anything, spam this, its the next best thing.

Last bit of advice iz 2 only use Beams at either Point Blank range, or when yur 100% yur oppenent iz n no position 2 dodge it. Betta safe than sorry.

Mmm.. Thats about it. Good Lux

Yeah homing missiles work good here because they won't really return to you.
Remember that Samus's shots won't go on forever either, i've gotten the spacing right so that i can shoot a charged shot, then when they reflect it it disappears in front of me so i don't even need to shield, nonetheless, still a wasted shot. When reflectors become a problem that usually means they are kind of spamming it (probably cause you were spamming too. =P)
I know people that will sit in grabbing distance waiting for pit to say "Nice try"
Don't forget samus can have a good close combat game too. For both Samus and ZSS try to work well offensively as well as defensively. Zair is one of many great ways to punish a reflector. Get them to the point where they won't use it, then squeeze a mid-range charged shot on them.

I actually like the deflectors cause it seems people tend to overly use them when they face Samus. Therefore, easily punishable. You just need to play smart and always assume that before you shoot your projectile, the deflector will go up (basically, just put your mindset in their position and you'll see the opportune times to shoot your projectiles)

If you fire a missile at long range, expect it to get reflected. One way I get around this is to, fire a hmissile then immediately SH zair. The zair will hit them out of their reflector (sometimes a sweetspot is required), and the hmissile will hit them immediately afterwards. If it's Pit, his shield sometimes blocks zairs, so just dash grab him. Your grab will pull him out of his shield and into your hmissile. Slow moving projectiles can be used to your advantage in this way.

Also, only use your charge shot when you know it's going to hit. Don't just shoot it when you think it will hit. Running off the stage to charge shot works wonders.
