Yay... So what the hell do I do now? O__o

You'd think that someone like me who posts about his life (or at least the funny, important moments) on Facebook every 5-10 minutes (time varies on rate of funny/important moments per day) that he'd have SOMETHING to write about for a blog entry.

Well first of all, who cares? Who really cares about what I think and do? Probably 3/4 of Smashboards doesn't even know who I am (anymore anyway). I guess I'll start with introductions.

I'm a dude. An old dude (25 going on 26). My now wife (married for 1 year April 10th, together 8 years the same day) taught me how to play Smash Bros. competitively. We are now 'retired' from the tournament scene, not that we were the next 'Eddie/Renth' or 'Umbreon' (I was a Ganondorf, she was a Zelda. I know, match made in Hyrule).

About a year or so after joining SWF, I stumbled upon the Art District. This was back in the day of such users as Epsilon, Saberhof and Stryks. I was inspired, and determined to strike (hurr hurr) out on my own. It was... Painful, the first few attempts I made. And while I'm not perfect, or the best, I made a reputation for myself. Users all around the boards (at some point in time) trudged over to the little art shoppe I set up for myself and wanted a sig from me. Even the users I mentioned above wanted to work WITH me in said shoppe. Then life happened, and I couldn't handle the workload anymore.

But I still open up the shoppe every once and a while. And will continue to do so (to any users who have a request in my shoppe, I'm at work. As I said, I'm busy with work, but I'm starting up again real soon! Believe!).

I enjoy video games, OBVIOUSLY. The Metal Gear series being my favorite, followed by Halo. I play Call of Duty with the greatest team I could ask for in the Lighthouse (TEAM SWF!!!).

And that's that for now. Questions? Ask. Go ahead. I don't know what I'm gonna do with this yet, but we'll see where this goes.

Cheers.

EDIT: Woops, looks like SWF effed up and posted this 3 times. Sorry for the trouble. >.>

Man, I wish I could do that. I just get depressed whenever I see what crap I make. XD
Ah, don't be like that. It takes practice. A LOT of practice. I think my next blog post will be about sig making, and what it's done for me. It'll be good for you.

Seriously; Don't give up, and keep practicing. You will NEVER get better without failing once or twice. And believe me when I say that I have.

I've done it for 4 years. ;-;

I haven't done anything in a year, but:

Is it low self-esteem, or was I really as bad as I think? :(

Edit: This is just a random mix of crap.

Your first and last are on the right track (last one using Topaz? Or good sharpen filters?)

I'd be happy to go over some sig making techniques and what have you sometime, maybe that's one of the things I can do with said blog. :)

I now have a mini purpose.

Also, TEAM SWF!!!

I remember asking you for a sig a year ago and you never gave me one

And man, you were the guy who made me want to get into sig making. Sadly, after doing about like 20 sigs, absolutely no good guides or help, and lack of good photo editing program, and working on trying to do this for months, I gave up because I had improved zip. That, any I got depressed everytime I saw you do something that was pro and then look at mine and see how much of a piece of crap it was :/

Sorry about that. :( Fate is a cruel mistress... Luckily, I have my way with her. ;) I'm starting up again, so patience padawan.

And I really do think I am gonna start this sig guide blog. I want people to improve.

As for a good program, go GIMP. I don't use it myself, but there are several sig folks out there that use it and are just as talented if not better than photoshop users (Marthmaster being one of them).
