I give up, I tried to like smash 4, all I got was defeat, by projectile spammers on laggy wifi. Here's every problem, competitive and casual, I have about this game:
-circle pad was unresponsive, the circle pad can't tell if you are inputting up or side ways sometimes, resulting in accidental SDs.
-the fact that they made the D-pad taunts instead of the C-stick. Why couldn't they just use y as the taunt button?
- loading up the game is still slow
- disappointing final roster
- disappointing unlockables characters
-no online with smash run
- you cannot interact with others in smash run
- no more edge hogging
- the new ledge mechanic
- no more chain grabbing, not even melee chain grabs.
- extremely unbalanced characters
- unnecessary nerfing and buffing of certain characters. (Ex: Why would you nerf Ike, and buff lucario?)
- repetitive moveset, (seriously, 1/3 of the newcomers have counter as their down-b, and most custom moves are just carbon copy of another.)
- the blast zone, it takes forever to kill an opponent
- how long it takes to unlock custom moves and costumes.
- Little Mac <---- This
- the fact that we can't communicate with each other online
- Omega stages <----------------------------------------- **** this
- and finally, how everyone are kissing this game' s ass while bashing on brawl, calling it slow at the same time.

Don't get me wrong, this is just a rant made by some kid who have to much time to spend on the internet, this game still packs a lot of fun in it, I'm just really disappointed.

I agree with your points on Omega stages and the lack of options in smash run(probably made to save time).
But complaining about Little mac doesn't make any since, considering he is REALLY easy to gimp.

What I hate is that little Mac changed the playstyle of the game, sakurai basically said to us: you shouldn't use aerials. Here, use little Mac, spam smash attacks, and roll all day.

So just don't play Little Mac. When you do play against him, it's really predictable. He's obviously not going to use any arials on you, so that doesn't leave many options.

I agree with almost all of your points. I've only played it once though. While i did enjoy the game, i just classified and will continue to classify it Brawl 2.0, or Brawl with combo's. I loved Brawl, but the reasons you've listed above just prove that Smash needs new leadership.

I just hate how so many people uses him and thought he's the new melee fox.

I wouldn't even call it brawl with combos, it's more like brawl 0.8 or something, but I still like how they make the game so detailed, and it is still really fun to play.

I like the roster (Its not predictable; Jr, Duck Hunt, WFT, Villager) but the fact that half the roster is there from the start didn't make me all that excited as past versions where I just randomly came across a character. Also their unlock method was simple this time around thus boring.

I usually quit laggy battles and it sucks you get penalized instead of automatically disconnected.

To counter one of your points:
Smash Run. I feel as though having others interact with you COULD ruin that mode. One player could bully another by following them and taking their treasure/stats. Or they could try to spam items on them to get them mad (Played local Smash Run for the first time and saw LARGE BOM OMBS SPAWN ABOVE ME THAT AUTOMATICALLY BLEW UP). Personally I like that its solo play. BUT I do not like the random factor of it at the end. Nor do I like that you play this mode for 5 minutes only for a 1 or 2 minute
quick battle or race.

Someone apparently doesn't know how to shieldgrab and easily gimp, seems to me like you're just salty, and judging by your avatar...

Yeah. I'm still going to buy it for the Wii U, but it's going to be pretty disappointing seeing Typical Sakurai Laziness once again. Ganondorf is still a clone, Toon Link is still a clone, more clones have been added, bad balancing is still present, and many characters are still being unfaithfully represented.

A lot of these complaints are either nitpicky, only pertain to the 3DS version, or both.

I'm sorry but this dirt of topic belongs in the SSB4 Dissapointment thread(s). There's one here and one in the Wii U section.
